José Martí International Airport, sometimes called by its former name Rancho-Boyeros Airport, is an international airport located 15 km (9 mi) southwest of Havana, Cuba, and is a hub for Cubana de Aviación and Aerogaviota, and former Latin American hub for the Soviet (later Russian) airline Aeroflot. It is Cuba's main international and domestic gateway, and serves several million passengers each year.
The airport is close to Arroyo Naranjo, Bauta, San Antonio de los Baños, Centro Habana, Havana, Guanabacoa, Quivicán, Caimito, Güira de Melena, San José de las Lajas, Alquízar, Guanajay, Batabanó, Mariel, Melena del Sur, Artemisa, Güines, Madruga, San Nicolás, Candelaria (Cuba).
