Wizz Air is continuing its massive expansion in Ukraine with a new airport - Zaporizhzhya.
Starting from March 2020, a new service will operate connecting Zaporizhzhya International Airport with Vienna in Austria; Budapest in Hungary; Gdansk, Wroclaw and Krakow in Poland; and Vilnius in Lithuania.
The low fare carrier planned to start flights here back in 2008, but subsequently revised this plans. Now it is confirmed - Zaporozhye is the fifth city in the Wizz Air route network in Ukraine after Lviv, Odessa, Kiev and Kharkov.
Zaporizhzhya airport has undergone major construction works on the the airfield, runway, taxiway and apron and soon will be ready to serve the increasing number of passenger.
New routes flights schedule
The new routes from Zaporizhzhya (OZH) to Vienna (VIE), Budapest (BUD), Vilnius (VNO), Gdansk (GDN), Krakow (KRK), Wroclaw (WRO) will be operated two times per week with the following schedule:
