Wizz Air expands network in Baltic states

Wizz Air is massively expanding its Lithuanian operations, adding one Airbus A320ceo aircraft to the Vilnius base and one Airbus A320 aircraft to the Riga base. The new aircraft will perform flights on 15 new routes - including 3 from Tallin.


Starting with October 2020 Wizz Air will operate 42 routes from the Baltic states on 6 airplanes.

Riga RIX

Since 2010 Wizz Air has carried almost 4 million passengers from/to Riga. With the seven new routes the airline offers now (August 2020) 15 routes to 10 countries from Riga.

The lowcoster has commenced operations in Vilnius in 2011. Since then it has carried almost 8 million passengers from/to Vilnius. Together with the five new flights Wizz Air offers now (August 2020) 24 routes to 14 countries from Vilnius.
