On June 16th 2020 Wizz Air announced a massive expansion of operations from Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport.
The lowcoster will add one new Airbus A321 aircraft to the Belgrade base and will convert the other two based aircraft to A321 from August 2020.
The new aircraft will join the fleet in July 2020. Thus, starting with July, Wizz Air will operate 3 new Airbus A321 aircraft and at the same time 9 new routes will be launched.
Belgrade was one of the first airports in the region for Wizz Air with flights to Dortmund and London - in 2010. After 10 years Wizz Air now offers 28 routes to 16 countries from 2 Serbian airports: Belgrade and Niš.
Serbia was one of the first countries in Europe to end the lockdown and restart the passenger traffic and starting in July, Belgrade Airport will offer an extensive network of destinations and low prices for all travellers in the region.
The new flights will start in July 2020 and will be operated according to the bellow schedule. The schedule may be subject to changes.
